What angle needs support?
Most FDM printers need support for overhangs beyond 45-50 degrees from vertical. Bridges under 50mm can often print unsupported.
What support density should I use?
Typical support density is 10-20%. Higher density is easier to print bridges over but uses more material and is harder to remove.
