Print Time Estimator

Estimate 3D print time based on model volume, print speed, layer height, and travel moves.

How It Works

Enter your model dimensions, layer height, print speed, and infill. The estimator calculates total filament path length and divides by print speed, adding overhead for layer changes.

Formula

Print Time = (Filament Length / Print Speed) + (Layers x Layer Change Time)

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my actual time differ?

Slicers use complex acceleration models. This estimator gives a reasonable approximation. Actual time depends on acceleration, jerk settings, and geometry complexity.

What print speed should I use?

Typical PLA prints at 50-80mm/s. PETG at 40-60mm/s. The slicer's estimated time is most accurate for your specific settings.
